Refund policy

At Bed Box, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for a change of mind return:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, including any tags or labels.

  • Proof of purchase must be provided.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the item(s) returned.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Hygiene & Health Protection

For hygiene and health protection reasons, we are unable to accept change of mind returns for bedding products that have been opened, used, washed, slept on, or are no longer in their original unopened packaging.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Quilt cover sets

  • Sheets and sheet sets

  • Pillowcases

  • Pillows

  • Quilts and doonas

  • Mattress protectors

  • Bedding accessories

Please ensure you have selected the correct size, colour, and product before opening the packaging.

This restriction does not apply where a product is faulty, damaged, or does not comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue and, where applicable, photographs of the product.

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you will be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Where a refund is approved, we will provide a full refund including:

  • The purchase price of the item; and

  • Any shipping costs paid for the order.

We may request that the item be returned before processing the refund or replacement. If a return is required, we will provide instructions and cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Exchanges

If you have ordered the wrong item and would like a different product, we recommend placing a new order for the item you wish to receive and returning the unwanted item under our Change of Mind Returns policy.

Once the returned item has been received and approved, we will issue a refund for the purchase price of the returned item.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind exchanges.

How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact our customer service team with:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you wish to return

  • The reason for the return

We will provide instructions on how to return your item.

DO NOT RETURN ANY ITEMS TO US BEFORE MAKING CONTACT SO WE CAN AUTHORISE THE RETURN.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to any rights set out in this policy.
